  • My Life My Passion: Love for Neurons – Dr Shyam Diwakar

    During the session, My Life My Passion on June 4th 2013, Dr Shyam Diwakar spoke to the audience and gave a clear picture on neuropsychology and neuroscience. He explained further the mathematical modelling of cerebellar granule neurons and their network properties. He also elaborated the analogy of computational process with the human brain and the working mechanism of the neural network.

  • My Life, My Passion: Love for Law & Order -Sundari Nanda IPS

    On June 3rd 2013 Sundari Nanda I.P.S, interacted with the students during the My Life, My Passion session. Her key message to the campers was to hold their faith and believe in the divine power. She said that faith is the most valuable thing in life. She emphasized the need to have a clear goal in life and to face every obstacle in life as a challenge, and challenge oneself. She added that one must be ready to turn the threats and obstacles into fertilizers for success. She encouraged the audience saying the Amma will guide everyone from within.

  • Rhythm of Tabla with Love: Workshop by Muthu Kumar

    A tabla workshop was conducted by  Muthu Kumar and his wife Priya Kalyanpur. It was an interactive and entertaining session. They spoke about the need to respect our own individuality and respect our personality. They urged the youngsters to never doubt oneself since it leads to one’s own destruction. They also said that the happiness found in dedicating oneself to achieve one’s real goal of life is much greater than the happiness that we receive by following the shortcuts to our goal.

  • My Life, My Passion: Love for Dance -Sudha Chandran

    Sudha Chandran spoke to the campers in the My life, My Passion session on 2nd June 2013. In her inspiring talk, she spoke about the need to believe in oneself, and to have faith and never give up, even when life puts us at stake. She urged the audience to fight when struggles come in life since life must move on. She also said that youth have powers to manage stress, hence they do not need special stress management. She also advised the students to learn now, since whatever must be learned is best imbibed when young.

    I’m running out of words to tell about Z-BAC as they really were awesome. Rappelling was the initial one. I was terrified. Then I tried and finally made it!! From the next day, I was rushing for more adventures. I enjoyed climbing down through the rope. I also hurried to climb the ladder and I made it.     The Z-BAC team that came in from different places across India just just for this camp for us, was admirable. We really enjoyed it from rappelling to zip-flying and firefighting and finally walking on fire!! All in all it was definitely my favorite experience. – Madhav Govind

  • Yoga: twisting body, straightening mind
